Snowboard events will include Parallel Giant Slalom, Snowboardcross, Slopestyle, Big Air, and Halfpipe for both men and women.<\/p>\n<h4>Athlete Eligibility<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ages 13\u201319 as of December 31, 2026 (born 2007\u20132013)<\/li>\n<li>Must meet Canada Games eligibility rules<\/li>\n<li>Athletes cannot be senior national team members or past Olympians\/Senior World Championship competitors<\/li>\n<li>Team Alberta may enter up to 4 male and 4 female athletes, depending on event entries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Coach Requirements<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>All coaches must be Competition-Introduction Advanced Trained in the NCCP system<\/li>\n<li>Must complete NCCP modules: <em>Leading Drug Free Sport<\/em>, <em>Managing Conflict<\/em>, and <em>Manage a Sport Program<\/em><\/li>\n<li>If a team includes male athletes, at least one coach must be male; if a team includes female athletes, at least one coach must be females<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Preparing for the Games<\/h4>\n<p>For the 2025\u20132026 winter season, Alberta Snowboard will be providing Integrated Support Team (IST) services and specialized clinics to help our athletes prepare for the Games.
