My favourite thing about Alberta Snowboarding is being on the hill at an event and watching the competition unfold, riders doing what they love, their parents & sibling watching along the fences cheering them on

Riding for: 32 years

Favourite thing to shred: Tree runs with lots of fresh Alberta pow.

Favourite trick: Too old to have a favorite trick.

Favourite people to shred with: My son and my best friend that introduced me to the sport in 1985 after coming home from California with our first snowboards.

Favourite snowboard to ride: LibTech TRS

Favourite Hill: Whistler

Favourite Pro Snowboarders: Yuki Kadono, Mark McMorris,

Favourite Snowboard Videos:  Warren Miller’s Freeriders and the Art of Flight

Most Memorable Snowboard Trip:  Whitefish Montana trip with friends in 1991, over 4 days 5 feet of snow fell, roads were closed through the pass, we could not drive home but more importantly other riders could make it to the hill to take away our fresh tracks
