Geoff Peterson
Director at Large
I’ve had a connection with Alberta’s snowboarding scene since 1988, becoming a dedicated member of Alberta Snowboarding in 1989. My family’s roots run deep in the Alberta Snowboard Association, with my sister and I competing in our formative years. I’ve even had the privilege of coaching for ASA, and both of my parents generously contributed as dedicated ASA volunteers. Notably, my mother steered the ASA office for several years.
Presently, I hold the role of Judging Coordinator for Alberta and proudly serve as a fresh addition to the Canadian Judges Committee. My passion for snowboarding remains vibrant as I continue to actively judge across all levels of freestyle snowboarding, from the Grom Series to World Championships. Furthermore, I’m excited to dedicate more time to pursuing my TD license this season.
