Ward Mather

Board of Directors

I have been practicing law in the City of Calgary for 24 years. I have extensive experience working with not-for-profit associations, national sports teams and amateur athletes and coaches at the provincial and national level.

I have been a snowboarder for more than 40 years, and my wife, daughter and son are all snowboarders. Snowboarding has been an important part of our lives. I am passionate about supporting the continued growth and development of snowboarding in
Alberta. As a member of the Alberta Snowboard Association, I aim to leverage my experience to strengthen the Association’s mission, expand grassroots participation, and help build sustainable pathways for athletes of all ages and abilities across Alberta.
