Canada Snowboard Coaching Program (CSCP)
The CSCP, in partnership with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), develops educational resources and ensures progression in the snowboard coaching pathway. Whether you’re starting as a snowboard instructor or advancing as a coach, CSCP offers clear pathways for growth.
Snowboard Instructors vs. Coaches
Snowboard Instructors

- Certification: Complete the Level 1 course through the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI).
Snowboard Coaches

Coaching Requirements and Standards
To ensure safety and proper guidance, CSCP outlines the minimum standards:
- All named club head coaches must meet the Comp Intro Trained level for Provincial Series events.
- Coaches leading higher-level events must progress to certifications appropriate to their athletes’ competition level.
Coaches using specialized training tools (e.g., trampolines, airbags) must meet specific standards outlined in the CSCP Scope o Practice Policy
