MEMBERSHIP & LICENSING
Alberta Snowboard Association (ASA) is a Provincial/Territorial Sport Association (PTSA) Member of Canada Snowboard and the sanctioned governing body for the sport of snowboarding in the province of Alberta. We create the pathways that are designed to help you reach your goals, even to become a professional competition snowboarder or to build your career in coaching, officiating and volunteering. Or simply become a member to support the systems which make competition snowboarding in Canada possible.
All competitive and coach memberships must be affiliated with a sanctioned member club in good standing with Alberta Snowboard, in order to be able to participate in scheduled training and competition. Please visit our CLUBS page to find a club near you!
All judges, officials and volunteers MUST have a valid membership for the current season to ensure they are covered with Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance for participation in ASA sanctioned training and competitions. Competitive memberships also include CGL insurance.
