Provincial Events

PROVINCIAL EVENTS

Provincial events are designed to support riders in their progression, fostering growth and skill development within a supportive community.

Alberta Provincial events are the next stage in the event program following on from the Alberta Series.

Provincial events are eligible for World Snowboard Points (WSPL) and for those competitors with a valid FIS license, FIS points.

Supporter

Ability to upgrade to Limited Participant, Recreational or Compete Membership. *No event/training liability insurance.

Support Staff Membership

Required by Support Staff (Integrated Support Team, Team Managers & Wax Technicians) who travel with teams and clubs to events and training - Ability to purchase Shred Hookups Supporter Membership to access Canada Snowboard Membership Discounts - Liability insurance covers participation at these specific events.

Volunteer Membership

Uncertified Level 1 officials* & Volunteers who are helping out at events. Ability to purchase Shred Hookups Supporter Membership to access Canada Snowboard Membership Discounts *Level 1 certified official: · Accomplished both theory and practical components · Theory: finished taking online or in-class official course (approx. 1 hour) · Practical: worked in any role at one Canada Snowboard sanctioned event in any of the disciplines: Park and Pipe (HP-SS-BA), Cross or Alpine snowboarding
