I was born and raised in Fort McMurray. I have been with the Fort McMurray Fire Department for over 20 years, currently serving as a Captain. I am an outdoor enthusiast and avid Snowboarder. My passion for snowboarding promoted me to co-found Ridge Riderz Snowboard Club, the first snowboarding club in Fort McMurray. I served as Co-Chair in Snowboarding on the 2023 Arctic Winter Games Board. I enjoy spending my time planning out doors with my wife Melanie and my two kids Aidan and Taya.
